1.Acquisition of personal information

When acquiring personal information for the operation of SDGs Japan, we will use lawful and fair means and within an appropriate scope based on the consent of the individual. Personal information may be provided to the SDGs Civil Society Network in the following cases.
(1) Joining SDGs Japan (providing member registration information), cooperation, donations, etc.
(2) Inquiries, cooperation, donations, etc. to SDGs Japan
(3) Viewing, requesting, and downloading various materials and toolkits provided by SDGs Japan
(4) Participating in, applying for, and making inquiries about various seminars, events, actions, etc. related to SDGs Japan
(5) Delivery and sending of information and news emails related to SDGs Japan

2. Purpose of use of personal information

Personal information obtained in the operation of SDGs Japan will be handled appropriately for the following purposes within the scope of activities of SDGs Japan.
(1) For operations such as member registration information, management of requests for cooperation and donations, and accounting related to the operation of SDGs Japan.
(2) To respond to inquiries about SDGs Japan and to make inquiries, etc.
(3) To distribute information such as news emails from SDGs Japan, and to send information letters and thank-you letters, etc.  
(4) Information disclosed to the public based on the person's consent

3. Provision of personal information to third parties

At SDGs Japan, from the standpoint of maximizing the right of individuals to manage their own information, in principle we do not disclose or provide personal information to third parties without the permission of the individual concerned. However, within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use listed in 2 above, we may provide it only to business partners and contractors. SDGs Japan takes the following safety measures to prevent leakage, destruction, falsification, etc. of personal information.

5. Disclosure, Correction, Deletion, etc. of Personal Information

SDGs Japan will promptly respond to requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use, etc. of personal information acquired by SDGs Japan.

6. Compliance with laws and regulations and continuous improvement of personal information management system

SDGs Japan will comply with laws and regulations and other norms related to the protection of personal information, appropriately review and continuously improve the protection and management system of personal information. In addition, if there is a revision to the content of this privacy policy, we will notify you on the SDGs Japan website.
